Regional workshop on Air Quality Directive

The workshops will be attended by representatives from the beneficiary countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the North Macedonia, Kosovo[1], Montenegro, Serbia, and Turkey). They will congregate in order to:

• overview the basic elements of the directive (AQ assessment, AQ management, AQ plans, information, and reporting).
• share the experiences on current implementation, capacities, as well as plans and programmes for the full transposition and implementation of the directive.
• overview the EU Best Practice on policy and regulatory framework, National, regional and Local Air Quality Modelling Processes, Key Sources/ Sectors of air pollution.
